J50 Favourite Sport

"My favourite sport is..."

Soccer, definitely soccer. i love watching soccer, i like cheering on my team.  i like the atmosphere, the noise, the crowd. I like watching soccer better than other sports, i'm not really sure why. But i like the idea of playing with a ball and not using your hands.  

J48 Graduation Speech

"If you were asked to speak to a graduating class, what would you say?"


"Some of you worked hard to be here, some of you hardly worked to be here. Either way, you did it, you're finished, go out into the world and have everything you thought you knew either proved wrong, deemed useless, or found insufficient for whatever you wanted to accomplish with that knowledge. Life sucks, get used to it."


(Not what they said at my class's graduation, but that's sure what happened. Knowing ahead of time might have helped... maybe.)

If you were invited to have tea with the Queen of England, what would you say?

"Hey babe, what's happening?" Just kidding. i would prolly ask why the royals can't play Monoploy in the palace, or why Katherine has to stop eating when the Queen does. These things just don't make sense to me, i see no logical reason for either of these, and i'd really like some answers.

J46 Advice

"What is the best advice you ever received?"

i've gotten a lot of advice over the years (most unsolicited) but i think the best piece is something someone taught me in relation to dating, but i think it can apply to most relationships. "Find someone who is happy, and you'll be happy together." What this means is you need to find someone who is already happy, who can be happy without being in a relationship, and if you're also happy without being in a relationship, then the two of you will be happy together. How i think this applies to other relationships is that if the person (friend, relative,coworker, whatever) isn't happy, you can't make them happy. It isn't your job. But beside that, if they're not happy it puts pressure on you to either (1)make them happy, or (2)to take the blame for whatever goes wrong in the relationship. Neither of these is healthy. i don't really know what to do if you're in this situation, all i can say is 50% of the problems in the relationship or the unhappy person's fault*, and you just have to accept that it isn't your responsibility to "fix" whatever goes wrong, and believe that it isn't all your fault.
*(based on a two person relationship)

J45 Good Neighbour

"What is a good neighbour?"

My idea of a good neighbour is living next to a cemetary. They're quiet, they mind their own buisness, they don't have loud parties (very often), block the street with thier cars, steal my paper, and i don't feel obligated to buy Girl Scout cookies from thier daughter. Sounds pretty great to me!

"Why do you think tact is an important quality?"
Mostly because i have none. If you don't have tact you often end up with your foot in your mouth, usually by asking all kinds of inaproppriate questions that you didn't know were inaproppriate. Also i'm pretty sure i wouldn't lose so many friends if i had some tact....

"What parts of nature do you like best?"

The edible parts. i would love our nature to be like that one scene in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. You know when they're all in that room where everything is edible, the trees, the flowers, the grass, the river. That would be cool. Seriously tho, i like trees in the fall, and bright flowers, and sparkling rivers. Really anything with a lot of color, even multi-color sand is pretty cool to me :)

"What is the best way to treat meddlesome people?"

 i can't stand it when people push themselves into my life or try to know everything about me. So i say meddle right back. Pry into thier lives, ask all kinds of really personal or inaproppriete questions. They'll either get the idea and leave you alone, or think you're nosy and leave you alone. So either way, they're gone, which is the whole point right?

J40 Favorite Book

"What is your favorite book and why?"

I love books, so this one is really hard for me, but my fave is prolly Murder With Peacocks by Donna Andrews. I really like the Meg Langslow series and this is my favorite book in that series. Plus my dad bought the copy I have for me. It was “just because” present, and it’s kinda special cause he got book I really love. I also like this book cause it’s one of the books I read when I’m stressed. Rereading certain books helps me deal with stress, and this is my fave of those books =)

J39 Dull Evening

"What is your idea of a dull evening?"

Hmmm, my idea of a dull evening would prolly differ from most people. I love hanging out with my friends, but I also like staying home and doing laundry or cleaning or cooking. If I have music playing and I’m alone or its just 1 or 2 other people than I actually enjoy staying home. Of course I always have fun with my friends, and even if I don’t know the people very well I can usually still have a good time. My idea of a dull evening is one spent with my family. I know that sounds terrible, but we almost always end up fighting and I just don’t enjoy being around my immediate family very much. Even if we go somewhere, it’s usually somewhere I don’t like, simply because I don’t have much in commen with my immediate family members.

J38 Extinction

"Assuming that complete recovery were instantaneous, would you be willing to accept a year of total paralysis below the neck to prevent the otherwise certain extinction of a species of animal?"

Depends entirely on the animal.... But prolly not. In fact unless it was something ridiculously cool like Giraffes or Platypuses or something i wouldn't. i definitely wouldn't if it was like cats or chihuahua. In fact i would prevent anyone from saving Chihuahuas. i really hate those things. i am mean and heartless (i've been told) about animals, but that's just me.

J37 Great Wisdom

"If you were given a choice between being given great wisdom or great wealth, which would you choose?"

If you have great wisdom people bug you with stupid questions, plus you're so wise that your consciense goes into overdrive. If you're wise (imo) you're like stuffy and not any fun. You take everything so seriously, and like over analize everything. i mean, how much fun would that be?


Cash, now. Cash is fun. You can do a lot with cash. i would definitley pick the money. i'd rather have fun than be wise.
Yes i'm shallow. Get used to it. Lol.

J36 Unhappiness

"Do you feel that children should be sheltered from unhappiness?"

In a way. i don't think kids should be given an unrealistic view of the world, but they shouldn't have to grow up to fast either. The world isn't all sunshine and flowers, but it isn't all doom and gloom like some adults make it seem either. Kids need balance. Kids shouldn't have to deal with adult problems, unfortunately they usually do. While my childhood wasn't nearly as bad as many other kid's, it wasn't ideal either. There were a lot of things i had to learn about, or experience before i was ready. Looking back, yea i had to grow up too fast, and in sometimes very difficult ways. But that's the past. i've tried to shelter my kids from those things, and while it hasn't always worked, i think mostly they've grown up slower, and didn't have to deal with adult stuff till they're ready. That's the best i can do.

If you joined the circus, what act would you most want to perform?

i would want to do the trick riding. Ya know the girls that ride upside down, and spin and stuff while the horse is running around the ring. i think that really cool, and if i was more cordinated, and better at riding, and more fexible, and.... mayabe i should just pick something else. =P

J34 25 Hours

"If you had 25-hour days (while everyone else continued to have 24-hour days), what would you do with the extra time?"

i would say that i would do somethign productive, like spend more time with people, or meditate more, or spend it working on a project. In reality i would prolly sleep. i sleep pretty much any chance i get, cause i'm so busy and i'm always running somewhere. So yea, i'd prolly just waste it sleeping. Lol.

"If you could have any car you wanted, which car would you choose? Would it be practical or flashy?"

Definitely flashy! Silver, with lots of chrome. What?? A silver Mustang convertible, that's what i'm talking about =) The more flashy, and tricked out the better! i've never actually ridden in a convertible with the top down ='( but i'm pretty sure i'd like it. i just love the sleek, streamlined look of this car. Being practical is not something i want to be known for, and this car definitely shows that lol!

J32 Movie That Made You Cry

"What was the most recent movie that made you cry?"

Hmm... i'm not sure. i don't cry in movies very often. Prolly A Walk To Remember. It always makes me cry, but i like the movie. Go figure. The book is way better tho! Nicholas Sparks is epic! i cry when i watch any of his movies. Or read the books. Ah well, i guess its a girl thing ;)

Jared, and i would torment him by playing the Gummy Bear song over and over again. JK! Sorry, Jared, i couldn't resist.
Hmm... really? i can't think of anyone.... right now. One day, when Amber is like 19 or 20 i'd like to trap her in a room with a five year old just like her. That would make me very happy. *evil grin*

J30 Crickets

"Would you be willing to eat a bowl of live crickets for $40,000?"

Absolutely not. i have this thing about bugs. Mostly its that i hate them. With a passion. i absolutely could not eat even a dead, chocolate covered cricket, not even a small one. Ever. Not for a billion dollars. Not even if i was starving, i just couldn't do it. i hate almost all bugs. The only bugs that are even close to acceptable are lady bugs, butterflies, and dragonflies. That's it, and only on a good day. i'm telling ya, i have a thing about bugs.
