Death
Death doesn't bother me. It's weird, i accept death as part of life, and i don't get upset by it. It just happens. i don't get upset, i just go one with my normal life. My great-uncle died a few days ago, i've been helping to take care of him and my great-aunt for the last few months. When they told me he was gone, my first reaction wasn't one of sadness. i felt relived. He's been suffering, and his quality of life wasn't very good, he's so much better now. Why should i be sad? Where does it say i have right to feel cheated? He is in Heaven with God, there's no more suffering, no pain, he's more happy than i can even comprehend. It would be beyond selfish to even begin to wish him back. Why should i be sad? i am sad, and i will miss him, but i'm not acting sad. i'm not devestated. And i feel guilty about it, because all around me people are sad, people are crying, people keep asking me if i'm holding up all right. All i can think is that i'm doing better than most of them. Why is that? Do i just have a more realistic view of death? Or am i simply a heartless human being?

I understand this. :( And I have no words of comfort for I do not know the answer myself.
