Home

I don't really have a home. Not in the traditional sense. Yes I told my friends I was going home, and I meant my parent's house in Springfield, but that really isn't my home. I imagine home is a place that is safe, warm, happy, loving, and accepting. My parent's house is none of those. It never has been, and while my friend's homes have been nice, I've never been somewhere that feels like I imagine home should feel like. Even camp, while being safe, didn't fulfill what I expect home to feel like. Maybe I'm setting my sights too high, maybe that isn't what home actually feels like, I don't know. I hope it does tho, and that someday I'll get to be somewhere that feels like home.
